The best part of the year is finally here again with the 2022-2023 NFL Regular Season beginning next week. You can always refer back to here with the most up to date TV Schedules and news about the NFL. Sports is what we do and sports is who we are. The most exciting game of the week for us is the Dallas Cowboys taking on Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Bucs. Last season they played for the first time in a while with the Cowboys actually having a chance to win for most of the game. They ended up leaving too much time on the clock for Brady who ended up punishing them in the end.
The real question is going to be whether or not the Cowboys can live up to the hype this season. As a Cowboys fan I am always getting my heart broken since I was very young. I don’t know why they are unable to compete once the Playoffs roll around but the Cowboys have become one of the greatest choke artist teams in the history of the NFL. No one ever has as much hype on a season by season basis and not lived up to it than the Dallas Cowboys have over the past couple of decades. So with all of this what could I possibly think would be the outcomes coming in Week 1 of the NFL season? Let’s make some predictions:
Thursday, September 8th (Opening Game)
Los Angeles Rams at Buffalo Bills – The line has the Bills winning by 2.5 points and I think they cover that spread nicely. I think the Bills will secure a 35-24 victory and it won’t even look that close.
Sunday, September 10th
Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans – The line has the Colts winning by 8 points in Houston and honestly I think its going to be a blow out. Houston has made nothing but poor choices this off season. The only decent choice they made was getting rid of their best football player in Deshaun Watson. He ended up getting suspended for 11 games so it ends up working out for them. Still bet they end up going 3-8 during that 11 game stretch. If they even get some wins honestly.
The closest predicted game of the week is also my favorite game of the week which is the Tampa Bay Bucs at the Dallas Cowboys for the Sunday night game on NBC. To me, this is the featured game of the weekend. Dallas was able to lead Tom Brady and the Bucs at the end of the game last year but gave Tom too much time at the end. I will post a recap of that game below but just know that I feel like it’s going to be different this season. Caesars has Tampa Bay odds at 1.5 points over Dallas but really I think Dallas covers that and ends up winning the game. I think its sink or swim time for Elliot and Prescott. Time for them to live up to their contracts.
