With the final list of conference champions you can see that there are at least 15 teams that would not have normally made a top 64 tournament that will be playing in at least the first round. I would say that Texas Southern is a complete surprise considering they started their season 0-13 but no one from the SWAC had more than 20 wins and Texas Southern did pretty well with conference games.
